November 2nd is Election Day here in the good ole US of A and I encourage everyone to go out and do their civic duty and VOTE. Regardless of which talking head ideologue you believe in, go VOTE. I know it's "only" a mid-term election but if more people would go express their opinion at the polls maybe we could get a government that actually represented what America as a whole feels. ↓ Read the rest of this entry...
It's October and once again, as is my tradition, all websites under my control take on a pinkish hue in observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We all know that breast cancer doesn't just strike in October, but I've always felt that I should do whatever I can to raise awareness. I've had too many friends and relatives be hit with breast cancer for me not to do a little something to raise awareness.
While I would normally volunteer my services to help check the ta-tas, last year's court order requires that I instead ask that you go to a qualified professional for any exams. I also encourage all of you to be performing self-exams throughout the year, don't wait for a mammogram or checkup, check yourself. The sooner you detect a potential problem the better off you'll be.
So let's make the world a safer place for breasts of every shape, size, and color. Do your part!
Well it's finally here. When most of you see this on Thursday morning I will have already made my way to the train station for my trek North to the wilderness that is the D.C. area. After arriving in D.C. I'll make my way to the Metro system and on to the Twinbrook Station in lovely Rockville, MD. I have been assured that it is right across the street from the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel home to this year's Intervention!
Want to meet me? Well I want to meet you, so come on over to Table 9 From Outer Space!!!

I mentioned earlier that I enjoyed watching Avatar in IMAX 3D (where available) but sadly its overwhelming success around the world has led to yet another trend in Hollywood. I'm sure this trend will plague us for years to come until it finally dies a the hands of the next annoying trend. I'm speaking, of course, of 3D. Once Hollywood saw the amazing success of Avatar in 3D Hollywood execs went crazy trying to upgrade every movie currently in production to 3D regardless of the movie's content, story, or quality. Written on my whiteboard for a few weeks now has been the note, "3D does not make crap movies better!"
I've planned to do a strip about it for awhile but today's dive into the Tubes brings us David Mitchell Soapbox where he addresses the issue from a more articulate viewpoint. He has a British accent so I'm inclined to feel he's smarter than me and believe whatever he says. This is the latest from his series of "Soapbox" spots where he gives a good rant about various subjects. I highly recommend you check all of them. ↓ Read the rest of this entry...
