Last week I posted my plans to attend Intervention 2010 this September 10-12 in Bethesda, MD. This past weekend those plans changed dramatically. If you come to Intervention 2010 this September, you’ll still be able to meet me, but you’ll have to come to my table to do it! I have now been invited as [...]

Far warning, this is a giant wall of text and probably will not hold anyone’s interests other than my own, but if you really want to know what drove me to where I am today with comics, most of it is here. I may make this into a stand alone page later -Tov Cartoonists are [...]
I have to think that with all of the Gowalla and Foursquare users out there mistakes have had to be made. Personally I don’t go anywhere interesting enough for people to want to follow. Bus Stop, Grocery Store, Gas Station, Home. I do make it a general rule and practice to never ‘check-in’ within a [...]
Every blog post I’ve tried to write this evening has come out wrong. I’ve either typed up a ranting diatribe that makes me sound like a lunatic, or I’ve written a long winded “everybody should love everybody” pansy-ass post that would make Hello Kitty lose her lunch on My Little Pony. So today, and likely [...]
My job, literally, is to provide you with consistent updates, with my best possible work, three days a week. Obviously I’m failing to do that and that’s unacceptable to me. I’m going to take some time this weekend and try to work ahead a little. I’m also working with a new coloring technique that should improve the strips look some and I’ve started serious work on getting the Book ready for print by this fall.

The incident that inspired me to draw the Douché series of comics also led me to write a Letter to the Editor of our local newspaper. I must have been upset if I would stoop to dealing with newspapers. (I’ve removed the local names from the letter since I don’t want people coming to my [...]

I grew up watching The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy, The Lone Ranger, Batman (yes, the Adam West one) and Superman. I guess since I didn’t have too many other influences except the sanitized, sanctified view of American life presented on television. Maybe this warped my thought processes a little. I grew up believing America was always the good guys and the good guys always win. I was taught to respect authority and accept that those in power were there to act in our best interests. But above all else I was taught FOLLOW THE RULES.

I hate Windows. The operating system, not the things that let you see outside. Sometimes I hate them too, but not at this very moment. I’ve been refraining from beating my laptop Office Space style since about 8am. Brand new laptop and its worked everywhere, home and at my office. But today it decides it [...]

I had a high school girl, giggle and almost faint moment the other day. I found out that Coheed & Cambria will be releasing their new CD “Year of the Black Rainbow” in April.
