I'm sure by now you've heard me mention Intervention 2010. In just five short weeks I'll be traveling to Rockville, Maryland (in the Bethesda/DC area) for what looks to be one of the most awesome conventions of the year. To hear me talk you would think I was the only guest but the guest page seems to grow every day. One guest I am really excited about meeting is Philip "Frumph" Hofer.

Phil is the lead developer for the ComicPress theme that keeps my website (and hundreds of others) working. He has provided unmeasurable amounts of help via Twitter and Chat conversations since I started using WordPress and ComicPress to run my site and now I get to meet him in person, and even better, so do you!

He will be holding workshops and talks on Site Design, WordpPress, ComicPress, CSS and tricks to keep your webcomic updating for as long as you're drawing it. The man is a wizard when it comes to web site design and apparently he speaks CSS as if it was his native tongue.  And if that wasn't enough to make me want to go, he will be providing a free download to all workshop goers, the Casts addon for ComicPress child themes. That's at least a $30 value right there.

So mark your calendars for September 10-12th and come out to meet Phil and a host of awesome guests at Intervention 2010. Oh, and I'll be there too!
