I Always Feel Like, Somebody’s Watching Me!
March 8th, 2010 |I have to think that with all of the Gowalla and Foursquare users out there mistakes have had to be made. Personally I don’t go anywhere interesting enough for people to want to follow. Bus Stop, Grocery Store, Gas Station, Home. I do make it a general rule and practice to never ‘check-in’ within a mile of my house. Sometimes not even that close.
It’s a little scary to me to think that all of this location information is just floating around out there for anyone to read. I haven’t heard or read of anyone else raising any privacy complaints or concerns about it. I’d love to here your opinions this week as I address Social Mapping Applications. (Maybe, MAPlications?)

Jinkies! I’m now on stalker #10 in my life, Foursquare scares the bejeebers outta me. I had a friend suggest that if I started really using it, that it would cause the streets to fill with the mentally unstable flocking to their mothership and people would think the zombie apocalypse had begun. Now, I think that may be just a touch exaggerated, but I’m not tryin to test that theory. . And then I saw this site: http://pleaserobme.com/
