Reality Amuck™

Yesterday marked the American holiday of Thanksgiving. Though saying American holiday is technically incorrect, as was pointed out to me recently all of us living on this side of the world are Americans, some of us from South America and some of us from North America. Which means every year thousands of Americans stream across our southern border with Mexico into the United States. Huh, maybe that's why Lou Dobbs quit.

Anyway, that's not what this post is about. Here in the United States of America many of us celebrated the Thanksgiving Holiday yesterday and today, across the country, millions of people will rush to stores and malls before the break of dawn to try and get the best deals possible on certain merchandise. I, on the other hand, will attempt to not leave my house or approach any business for any reason if at all possible. With my driving record that's probably the safest thing for everyone concerned.

I did want to take a minute and point out that I've now added a way for you to avoid the traffic and crowds and STILL get your shopping done. If you look back up at the top of the website at the menu bar you'll notice a new button labeled "Shop!" and on the left of the screen there should be an ad window from Amazon. Both of this lead to our newly installed shop/store here at RA Comics.

I don't want folks to initially think of it as a store, so much as a few pages of recommendations. It's more of a way for me to say, "Hey, did you see this?" without having one of us have to drive around looking for the item.  Generally the items listed in the store will be things that I've actually looked at, held and maybe even bought. Not always. Some of the items are things that I've seen advertised and have thought, "Cool, I bet so-and-so would like something like that.

I hope you'll take a minute and have a look around. Many of the items have been marked down by Amazon so you might find a good price on some of the books and stuff. Either way, let me know what you think.
